I'm Martin Edser and I am based in West Sussex, England.
I love wildlife, photography and scuba diving and I try to spend my time involved in one or any combination of these interests.
I am lucky enough to live near Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and have been fortunate enough to have dived in many parts of the world including New Zealand, Fiji, Philippines, Indonesia, Egypt, Malta, Jamaica as well as many parts of the UK.
In the 2020 Underwater Photographer of the Year Competition I was awarded a Third Place, Highly Commended and Commended in the British Waters Compact Category, and in 2019 I was lucky enough to be judged Winner (and a Highly Commended) of the British Waters Compact category .
Some of my photographs were Highly Commended and Commended in the Underwater Photographer of the Year 2018 competition and subsequently published in Country Life Magazine. I have also recently been fortunate enough to have further of my work published in Young & Mindful magazine.
I believe in using photography as a means to capture what I encounter in front of me as I walk or dive and set up very few shots.
